Smart Schools Investment Plan #2

On May 4, 2023, the Commack Board of Education approved the Preliminary Smart Schools Investment Plan for Phase 2. This plan includes input from the Smart Schools Bond Act Committee, which is comprised of a variety of stakeholder groups including parents, students, staff, and community members. 


This plan will remain available for public review on the District website for at least 30-days (beginning May 5). Comments on the preliminary plan may be submitted in writing, no later than Tuesday, June 6, 2023.

NOTICE: A public hearing will be held regarding the Smart Schools Investment Plan for Phase 2 on Thursday, June 8, 2023,  as part of the Regular Board of Education meeting.

Smart Schools Investment Plan #1

On April 7, 2016, the Commack Board of Education approved the Preliminary Smart Schools Investment Plan. This plan includes input from the Smart Schools Bond Act Committee, which is comprised of a variety of stakeholder groups including parents, students, staff, community members, and invited representatives from non-public schools. After a public comment period and a public hearing, the Commack BOE approved the Final Smart Schools Plan for submission to the NYSED. This plan was submitted in June 2016.

 

The State Education Department has approved Commack’s Smart Schools Investment Plan.
