Boys Cross Country Qualifies Runner for State Meet
CHS boys cross country runner Dylan M. is headed to states!
Dylan ran the state qualifying 5K meet in 17:05.8 on Wednesday afternoon at Sunken Meadow State Park to punch a ticket to the state qualifying meet as an individual.
The event will be held on Nov. 16 at Queensbury High School in upstate Warren County.
Dylan is committed to run in college at Division I FDU.
The CHS boys team finished second at the meet, trailing only champion Ward Melville.
The girls team also competed Wednesday and finished sixth of 10 teams.
