Welcome Wednesday! is Commack’s premier new employee experience and part of the larger onboarding program! Held monthly, each session is led by Commack’s Curriculum Team at the Hubbs Administration Building, and gives new employees the chance to learn about the Commack UFSD, ask questions to some of the district’s leadership team, and to meet some of their new colleagues. We believe that our people are our greatest resource and have such a profound impact on the student experience, therefore Welcome Wednesday! is not just about learning about policies and protocols, it is much more – Welcome Wednesday! is designed for new employees to be ‘welcomed’ into the Commack family, learn about our values, and to begin to create relationships that will have an impact on student learning and connections that will last a lifetime!
