Rolling Hills First Graders Celebrate 'Grinch Day'
Rolling Hills’ first-grade wing turned into Whoville on Thursday.
First grade classes celebrated “Grinch Day” as the students wore green apparel as well as hats they colored featuring the Grinch’s face.
On the door of teacher Nancy Carillo’s classroom, students wrote messages of kindness on red hearts and posted them on a likeness of the Grinch.
The messages includes: “I hug my mom,” “I clean my room” and “I help my family.”
The students also had a “Grinch Day” work packet that included math and other lessons fitting the theme of the day.
