Commack varsity girls basketball celebrated a milestone feat on Wednesday evening.

Captain Sofia V.’s third-quarter three-pointer at Islip gave her 1,000 points for her prep career.

Coach Dave Moran immediately called timeout, allowing teammates to swarm her in celebration.

The Cougars, who are unbeaten in conference play, went on to a 67-31 win against Islip.
