CHS Ninth Grader Places in State Transportation Safety Poster Contest
CHS ninth grader Risha S. won first place in Suffolk County and second place in the state in the New York Association for Pupil Transportation poster contest.
Risha’s artwork highlighted transportation safety, with messages about the importance of keeping aisles clear, buckling up and quiet voices.
Risha earned $175 in prize money.
