Birthdays at Indian Hollow are now even more special ... and educational.

The primary school unveiled a new book vending machine Friday, complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring principal Brian Simpson.

The book vending machine was provided by the PTA.

Each student, on his or her birthday, will receive their choice of a complimentary book from the vending machine, also courtesy of the PTA.

Thomas and Gabby, who were Friday's birthday celebrants, were the first two to make their birthday selections. They both chose "Donut, The Puppy Place."

Not to worry ... Students whose birthdays already have passed this school year, and who have birthdays during the summer, will also receive their complimentary book.
