Science Director Laura Longo Earns Doctorate
The doctor is in!
Laura Longo, the district’s director of science, has successfully defended her Ph. D. dissertation in science education and has earned her doctorate through Stony Brook University’s Institute for STEM Education.
Longo is in her third year with the district.
She also holds master’s degrees from Stony Brook University in educational leadership and administration and from City University of New York in secondary education of physics.
