Northwell Recognizes CMS Sixth Grader for Artwork Promoting Mental Health

CMS administrators saluted sixth-grader Angeline M. on Wednesday after her artwork earned recognition in the Northwell “Erase the Stigma” art contest.
Angeline drew flowers blooming to represent how you can grow from getting help when you need it. She has been drawing since the first grade, and it is one of her favorite hobbies.
She often participates in art contests, and learned about this contest centering on mental health awareness from her older sister.
Angeline finished in third place in the middle school category.
She has been invited to Northwell’s May 18 Erase the Stigma awards ceremony.
