COMMACK SCHOOLS

Risha S. earned second place and Wenke L. earned third place in the drawing category at the BAFFA Juried Invitational High School Student Exhibition.

Artists from 11 Suffolk County high schools, including Risha and Wenke, originally were selected to have their work displayed at the BAFFA Art Gallery in Sayville.

The judges used five criteria: creativity/originality, technique, concept and execution, composition, and visual impact/emotional response.

BAFFA named award winners in drawing as well as painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture and digital art.
