CHS Junior Selected for Rea Jacobs Dance Scholarship
Junior Kacie D. has been selected to receive the $1,500 Rea Jacobs Dance Scholarship after being nominated through the IB Dance program.
The prestigious award is annually given to one Suffolk or Nassau high school student who is considering a career in the performing arts.
Scholarship sponsors include the Rea Jacobs Foundation, Huntington Arts Council and the Long Island Dance Consortium.
Kacie will perform and be recognized at the Summer Arts Festival in Heckscher Park this summer.
