COMMACK SCHOOLS

With school all but wrapped up, Newsday has handed out hardware to six Commack varsity-student athletes.

Softball’s Kate S. and Madison J., boys lacrosse’s James P., girls lacrosse’s Amelia B. and Liliana P. and boys track & field’s Anthony P. have been selected All-Long Island.

Kate and Anthony were selected to the first team, while the others earned second-team honors.

James (Richmond), Amelia (Florida State) and Liliana (Stony Brook) all graduate on Friday and will play lacrosse in college.

We're also expecting an announcement on boys tennis, likely with CHS state-qualifying doubles tandem Jeffrey B. and Eric B.
