Indian Hollow kindergarteners learned about gratitude and patriotism.

The youngest primary students colored in U.S. flags with a message of thanks to those who have served our country, just in time for Veterans Day.

The thank you notes will be shared with residents at the Long Island State Veterans Home in Stony Brook.
