North Ridge Kindergarteners Learn Native American Techniques
North Ridge kindergarteners are learning about Native American techniques to satisfy their food, shelter and clothing needs during assemblies on Wednesday.
The presenters showed the youngest primary students how Cheyenne tribes maximized the use of buffalo to satisfy all of their survival requirements.
The students also learned a Native American dance and held traditional clothing made from buffalo hides.
They even observed as a miniature teepee was set up.
