CHS hosted the Suffolk County principals’ leadership conference on Wednesday as it welcomed student leaders from more than 30 high schools in the county.

The theme of the conference was “All In: Elevate Your Impact.”

Motivational speaker Gian Paul Gonzalez, who helped spur the New York Giants to a Super Bowl title with his inspirational message, delivered Wednesday’s keynote address.

The student leaders also attended breakout sessions. CHS students led constructive activities that included sharing the best events at each school to spur ideas that can be implemented at other schools in the county.

”It was such a privilege to be able to share with student leaders from all across the county. I do not take that for granted at all,” Gonzalez said. “One of the messages I tried to impart, much like the quote that was shared, is that arrogance leads to someone to blame, but humility looks for something to solve.”
