Rolling Hills Second Graders Tour Community, Visit Commack Public Library

Rolling Hills second graders capped a bus tour of the community on Friday by experiencing all that the Commack Public Library has to offer.
After librarians greeted the primary students and read stories to them in the community room, including "How to Find a Yeti" and "Snowmen at Night," the library tour began.
Stops included the circulation and reference desks as well as the children's room.
The second graders also learned about library programs, including a bookmark design contest open to kindergarteners through 12th graders that runs through Feb. 23.
They also learned that the library is open seven days a week, including until 9 p.m. from Monday through Thursday.
