Indian Hollow students are experiencing the primary-school version of an escape room.

Inside the "mystery room," classes need to solve five literary-themed games in order to get the correct code to free Indie, the Indian Hollow bear, from a treasure chest.

The first puzzle for second graders on Thursday was a crossword puzzle. Others challenges included selecting the correct word to complete a sentence as well as listening to a story and recalling facts.
