CHS Art Students Recognized Across Suffolk County

Art students at CHS recently received prestigious accolades for their exceptional creativity and skill. Several young artists were recognized during exhibitions across Suffolk County. These achievements highlight the dedication of our students within the fine arts program.
Isabella W. earned Best in Show at the Huntington Arts Council High Arts Showcase XXII. She received this recognition for her original crayon artwork titled “The Kids.” Her piece stood out among numerous submissions to secure the top honor at the event.
Two other CHS students earned major awards at the Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts Juried Invitational High School Art Exhibition. This competitive event featured submissions from more than 10 high schools across the county. Juliet J. claimed First Place in Drawing and also secured the Second Place Best in Show title.
Juliet J. additionally received a scholarship award presented by Bell Street Arts in recognition of her artistic achievements. Jenny Y. also achieved great success at the BAFFA exhibition where she was awarded Second Place in Drawing. The district commends these talented individuals for their hard work and continued success in the arts!
