Students Sit On Eastern Suffolk BOCES AI Educate Empowering the Future of Learning Conference Panel

Commack administrators and students shared their expertise regarding the integration of AI in education at the Eastern Suffolk BOCES AI Educate Empowering the Future of Learning conference on Tuesday.
Superintendent Dr. Jordan Cox and Executive Director of Innovation and Technology Alise Pulliam presented on the proactive steps the district is taking to embrace evolving technology and thoughtfully incorporate AI tools into the classroom environment to enhance learning.
Commack High School students Cassidy G. and Jaskaran K. also participated as members of a specialized student panel. The pair offered a firsthand perspective on how artificial intelligence has influenced their daily academic routines and shifted their approach to learning. By sharing their personal experiences, the students provided valuable feedback to educators regarding the student body’s needs and expectations in a digital landscape.
The participation of both district leadership and CHS students highlighted the collaborative effort to stay at the forefront of educational innovation, while addressing the importance of preparing students for a technology-driven future.
