Superintendent Dr. Jordan Cox presented Frann Weinstein from the district's accounts payable department with the Commack Star Award for April on Tuesday morning.
 
 The Commack Star is awarded to district employees who demonstrate exemplary achievement, contribution and performance in their roles.
 
 "Frann is the ultimate professional," Dr. Cox said. "Whether it's assisting a colleague, offering a listening ear to someone in need or simply brightening someone's day, she embodies the true essence of teamwork and camaraderie, and she is undoubtedly a Commack Star."
