COMMACK SCHOOLS

The CHS boys and girls track and field teams combined for seven individual titles as Commack hosted the county championship meets on Tuesday.

Anthony P. was crowned county champion in the shot put and discus, while Dylan M. was the county champion in the 3200m and Aidan P. was the county champion int the 1600m.

Also earning all-county for finishing in the top three in their events were Harris C. (second place, 3200m), Emerson A. (second, triple jump), Aidan P. (third, 800m), Dylan M. (second, 3000m steeplechase) and Daniel A. (third, 3000m).

The boys finished second overall.

On the girls side, the county champions were Kenzie A. (pole vault), Summer F. (walk) and Leah H. (400m).

Kathryn V. finished as runner-up in the triple jump.

Also all-county as third-place finishers were Kathryn V. in the long jump, Alexa T. in the discus and Brittney V. in the shot put.

The girls placed fifth in the county.
