IB Dance students welcomed guest artist Amanda Fiorentine to CHS' studio on Thursday.

Fiorentine, an Adelphi professor in the dance and theatre departments, worked with students on technique and choreography for a performance piece.

It marked another amazing experience for the students.

Last semester, dancers attended Stage the Change, a performing arts conference at LIU Post, where they met keynote speaker Kristin Chenoweth, an Emmy and Tony Award winner.

Both experiences were made possible by PTA Arts in Education in conjuction with Dana McNeill, Mary Ellen Desmond and Kimberly Cisek.
