CHS Peer Leaders Polish Skills to Assist Freshmen

During a full-day in-school retreat on Tuesday, students in the CHS Peer Leadership Advisory Network received tips they can apply to their mentorship of high school freshmen.
Kim Laube from Human Understanding and Growth Services led group exercises to train the CHS juniors and seniors in different styles of leadership.
The students plan to utilize their new skills when they next meet with CHS freshmen.
The Peer Leadership Advisory Network meets four times a school year with freshmen to assist their transition to high school in areas including managing test anxiety, navigating the building and making new friends.
